DESCRIPTION:PLEASE NOTE:  The June GRC meeting has been cancelled.  We hope you will join us at our next meeting\, which has been scheduled for Tuesday\, July 9.  We will be meeting with the Industrial\, Commercial and  Economic Development Committee.  Our featured speaker is Dick Castner\, Executive Director of the Western Regional Office for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.\n\n\n\n----------------\n\n\n\nThe monthly Government Relations Committee meeting is scheduled on the first Tuesday of each month. The purpose of the committee is to review legislation at the local\, regional\, state and national level that may have an impact on business (both negative and positive)\, and then to make recommendations to the Board of Directors for the Santa Clara Chamber of Commerce & Convention-Visitors Bureau based on their findings. Members in good standing may participate in the committee-each member business receives one vote on this committee\, although multiple members of the organization may attend the meetings.
