DESCRIPTION:Join us for our October First Friday.  What happens to a business when ownership changes?  The result differs depending on whether the entity is a sole proprietorship\, general partnership\, corporation\, or LLC.  Planning for the expected or unexpected departure of an owner is what Karen Lapinski\, Attorney\, will discuss at this month's First Friday.  Members may attend our First Friday programs at no charge.  Not-yet members should contact Carol Zimring\, Membership Investment Manager.  She may be reached directly at (408) 380-1236.\n\n\n\nFirst Friday are presented by the Santa Clara Chamber of Commerce & Convention-Visitors Bureau\, as a benefit to our members.  A variety of business-related topics are covered.  As the name implies\, these programs are held on the first Friday of each month from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m..  These are brown bag lunches unless otherwise noted.  Registration and networking are from 11:30 a.m. to noon\, and the seminar is from noon-1:00 p.m.  All are held at the Chamber office.
