SUMMARY:Big Gay Sword Day at the Swordfighting School
DESCRIPTION:Davenriche European Martial Artes School (DEMAS) proudly recognizes the diversity of its students\, including those of the LGBTQ community.\n\n\n\nThe goal of our Big Gay Sword Day is to show support to the local LGBTQ community\, and that all are welcome at the school. Gender and gender identity is not a barrier to learning the heritage of European martial arts.\n\n\n\nDEMAS instructors and fellow students have created an environment of support and empowerment for all that walk through its doors. Through this support\, a strong\n\ncommunity within the school has developed\, where people feel accepted and safe.\n\nLocal LGBTQ community support groups and services will be on-site with informational tables for the event.\n\n\n\nIn addition\, there will be sword and weapons demonstrations\, sparring between current students\, and an opportunity to get a taste of the different classes offered at DEMAS. If you ever wanted to learn to use a sword\n\nlike a Scottish Highlander\, Musketeer\, Viking\, Medieval Knight\, Swashbuckling Pirate\, or Lightsaber this is your opportunity!\n\n\n\nClasses are open to all adults and children (minimum age for children's classes is 8 years old).
