Now in its 57th year, the Parade continues a legacy that began in 1945, when it was first created to honor returning WWII heroes. Today, it has evolved into a vibrant celebration of our champions—past and present—including frontline workers, veterans, youth, and everyday community heroes who make Santa Clara extraordinary.

What makes this Parade and festival truly unique is its deep connection to community. From historic neighborhoods to today’s diverse and multicultural population, the Parade reflects the rich layers of Santa Clara’s story—where heritage, service, and civic pride come together in one unforgettable celebration.

Each year, thousands line the streets to experience colorful floats, cultural performances, marching groups, local organizations, and tributes that honor the people and stories that shaped this valley long before Silicon Valley became a global destination.
