SANTA CLARA, CA ? On the Thursday before the College Football National Championship game, an event at Levi?s Stadium only comparable to the Superbowl and Wrestlemania, the Santa Clara Chamber of Commerce received a phone call from Lauren DeMaine of South Carolina seeking to make a donation to a local youth charity on behalf of her parents, Michael and Freida Muscatell. Lauren, with tickets in hand (or on her cell phone), wanted to give local youth the opportunity to attend the pinnacle game of college football. The Santa Clara Chamber was honored and proud to connect Lauren with the Bill Wilson Center, a local Santa Clara nonprofit that supports and strengthens the community by serving youth and families through counseling, housing, education, and advocacy. With the generous donation of Michael and Freida Muscatell, seven foster youth had the opportunity to attend a historic night in Santa Clara.
