Join us on Friday, November 4 for our next First Friday session.  This session will focus on trends in plan design, regulatory changes, and the most effective ways to be compliant with your retirement plans.

The November First Friday is being sponsored by Merrill Lynch Wealth Management/Matthew Prentice.  Our presenter is Guy J. Hocker, President of Associates In Excellence/First Allied Retirement Services.  As an authority in the field of qualified retirement plans and with more than a decade of experience as a practicing ERISA lawyer, Mr. Hocker serves as a valuable subject-matter expert.

His ERISA legal experience includes substantial Internal Revenue Service/Department of Labor submissions and negotiations; complex plan designs (defined benefits/defined contribution combinations); niche designs (prevailing wage and non-profit); and comprehensive experience with qualified plan compliance practice management.

Mr. Hocker earned his law degree from William Howard Taft University and his bachelor's degree in business administration from the Walter Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. He is also a licensed member of the California bar.
