SESSION 1: Maxwell Method of Communication Impact Workshop

Have you ever wondered why people are wired a certain way? Just looking at the people in our lives whether it's our parents, brother, sister, relative, spouse, children, coworker, or boss, each one is unique with their own behaviors and personality traits. At times to a fault, we allow our lack of understanding and patience hold us back from effectively communicating and connecting.

No one disputes that EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION is critical for any successful enterprise. Your ability to succeed in your personal and professional relationships are directly aligned to how well you communicate. The greater your skill, the farther you will take your career and develop quality relationships along the way.

Effective communication DEMANDS that we use the method that works best for those we are speaking to, not just the method that works for ourselves. Communication REQUIRES Connection.

In this workshop, you will learn simple and strategic techniques on understanding the four common personality types and unique styles of communication. In knowing your own preferred style of communicating and understanding how other people prefer to be communicated, you become empowered to create quality and meaningful relationships! You will also be able to improve your team's productivity and performance. From this learning experience you will:

• Gain valuable insight into COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES to help you communicate with confidence and authenticity.

• Learn how to determine the most appropriate COMMUNICATION APPROACH for each individual.

• Discover key CHARACTERISTICS about each style and how to LEVERAGE YOUR STRENGTHS for better communication.

• Identify EFFECTIVE METHODS for bridging communication gaps among your group or team.

 SESSION 2: Communicating with Compassion

Compassion- the ability to notice challenges and meaningfully care for ourselves and those around us- is one of the most critical 'human' skills that we can cultivate. When we communicate with compassion at work, we enable people to show up as the best versions of themselves, deescalate conflict, create psychological safety and create balance.

Compassionate communication skills can provide great advantage in how you perform and are perceived as a leader and team player in your organization. The best part is the skills to communicate compassionately can be easily learnt and put into practice.

The objective of this workshop is not only to teach you the principles and tools of compassionate communication, but in a unique HACKATHON format, allow you to explore and co-create solutions in a fun, interactive way with other attendees.In this workshop you will learn:

• Interactive communication hacking
