In 2020, Julie launched Bossa Bars after personally struggling with "Menopause Middle" and watching her friends suffer in silence as their symptoms and increasing weight gain were robbing their confidence. Not letting a pandemic get in her way, she decided to do something about it and created delicious plant-based, nutrient-dense, and low-calorie energy bars with all the goodness a menopausal body needs, along with a MenoLounge community to help women #menolikeaboss! About our Round Table leaders:
Daniel Hasegawa, Excite Credit Union
Daniel Hasegawa recently retired as the Business Development Manager for Excite Credit Union. Before Excite, Daniel held various managerial and training roles at World Savings, Wachovia Bank, and Chevron Federal Credit Union, but he actually started his career as a teacher. So, while he can talk finance and development with the best of them, Daniel is known for his warm, patient interpersonal style. He is one of our outstanding teachers at Score teaching a class on how to improve your credit to secure business financing.
Tracey Lee Davis, ZingPop Social Media
Tracey Lee Davis, founder of ZingPop Social Media, turns busy small business owners into online marketing rockstars! A social media expert and Certified Partner for Constant Contact, she coaches entrepreneurs in how to grow their business using social media and provides total management for their email marketing campaigns. Tracey Lee is also a featured speaker for associations and business groups. She is Alignable's 2022 Local Businessperson of the Year for San Jose as well as a Top 25 U.S. Business Mentor of 2021, a Certified Content Marketing Strategist, and the Co-Owner and Vice President of the Women’s Networking Alliance. She also really, really loves cheese.
Carla Bohnett, Women's Networking Alliance
As a fifth-generation San Jose native, Carla has deep roots in the local community. She has served on many boards and been active in local organizations supporting public education and the art community. Organizations that support women and children are her focus. In 2018, Carla, along with Tracey Lee Davis, purchased the Women's Networking Alliance, an organization for women business owners to network with like-minded women to support and empower one another.
When time allows, she spend time with her wonderful family; her husband of 30 years, two grown children, and a zesty pup! Travel is a must, and they will be traveling the country in our tiny teardrop camper, snapping photos and tasting wine along the way!
