Description
In 2024, 14-year-old Jose Zamora, a Santa Clara ninth-grade student and football player, tragically died by suicide after being bullied for his homelessness. The Positive Alternative Recreation Teambuilding Impact (PARTI) is inviting Silicon Valley Chamber members to join the San Francisco 49ers Cheerleaders and special guest, to make an impact at the 2026 ExPosure Bullying Prevention Event on Friday October 17-18, 2025.
The ExPosure event features a VIP reception, Business networking Event and Fashion Show. Executives walk the runway to keep youth safe and stop bullies. The ExPosure Event offers multiple sponsorship levels and fundraising partnership opportunities for companies wishing to make an even greater impact.
Confirmed volunteer teams: Meriwest Credit Union and Bank of America.
The ExPosure event aims to connect with business professionals and corporate executives to promote youth mental wellness and bullying prevention. Event champions collaborate with community and youth ambassadors to support 100 young people in every city represented, focusing on workforce readiness, mental wellness programs, and youth-led bullying and violence prevention initiatives. Additionally, the goal is to equip 10+ schools with youth and community-created Bullying Prevention Toolkits, valued at $2,500–$5,000 each.
Celebrating 25 years- The Positive Alternative Recreation Teambuilding Impact (PARTI) empowers the next generation of leaders! PARTI was created in 2000 to provide activities for youth that build racial equity, gender equality, safety, and wellness. We became a 501c3 in 2007 at the urging of youth, community, and civic leaders, following the murder of an alumnus.
Sponsors and partners include: Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce, Valley Water, Starbucks, Silicon Valley Community Foundation, County of Santa Clara, County of Alameda Health Department, Eli Thomas Menswear, Meriwest Credit Union, Robert Half, and a contribution from the San Francisco 49ers Foundation.
