Dear Friends,
I am writing to invite you to participate in a telephone town hall focused on support for Small Businesses during the COVID-19 crisis. The goal of this telephone town hall is to allow you to hear from experts about the rights and resources available to our small businesses.
The telephone town hall is on:
Friday, May 29th, 2020
10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Participating experts are:
· Ricardo Lara, State of California Insurance Commissioner
· Margaret Jackson, Director of the Alameda County Small Business Development Center
· Dennis King, Director of the Silicon Valley Small Business Development Center
· Julie Clowes, District Director, U.S. Small Business Administration San Francisco District Office
You may send email questions in advance that we will do our best to answer during the telephone town hall. Because of the volume of RSVPs we are expecting, live questions will not be possible. Please email your questions to CRB@insurance.ca.gov by 4:00 p.m, Tuesday, May 26th using the subject heading, “May 29 Town Hall Question”. Any questions that we are unable to answer in the one-hour time period will be responded to by my office.
There is limited capacity for this call. Those who wish to participate will need to RSVP-with “May 29 Town Hall” included in the subject heading- by 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 26th.
