Message From County Supervisor Susan Ellenberg

As I begin my second year as a County Supervisor, I’m continuing the work of regularly connecting with our community, particularly around critical issues like early childhood development and family support.

That’s why I’m excited to be hosting an inaugural event featuring dynamic speakers and thought leaders from our region and beyond who will come together with community champions from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to celebrate our successes and look ahead to tackling future challenges.

I hope you’ll join me for @ The Kids’ Table, a breakfast fundraiser on Thursday, March 5, 2020, from 7:30 to 9:00am at the Biltmore Hotel and Suites in Santa Clara.

We’re honored to feature a keynote presentation from Hedda Sharapan, Senior Fellow at The Fred Rogers Company, where she has spent nearly 50 years developing a worldwide reputation as a leader in childhood research and development.

A recent documentary film about Fred Rogers and the feature film Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, starring Tom Hanks, have made Mr Rogers’ message of “Finding the Helpers” even more relevant at a time when we need heroes in all corners of our community – and that will be our theme for this year’s event!
