Kimberly Hines is the Technology Transfer Office Chief at NASA Ames Research Center. In this role she ensures that NASA patent and software innovations, developed originally for exploration and discovery, are made available to the public. Prior to coming to Technology Transfer, Kimberly served as an Earth Science Technology Office (ESTO) Associate Program Manager, managing numerous technology developments across the country, in support of Earth Observations. Kimberly’s early career experience in design engineering, and project management resulted in the success of multiple technology development projects supporting life sciences, for use on the shuttle, Mir, and the International Space Station. Ms. Hines has an MS in Engineering (Product Design), from Stanford University.
