Fan of my hometown. I am a community leader with deep roots in the Historic Old Quad Historic center. Alumni of St. Clare's and Santa Clara High School, graduated Magna Cum Laude from CAL State LA Business Major. Love history and am a Historic Landmarks commissioner for 3 years and a sitting member of the Downtown Community Task Force, President and Founding member of the Santa Clara Parade of Champions and work with the School District with WBE and Youth Business Groups, Officer of the SVCC Board, Founding member of the Chamber WIBLG, SC Rotarian, Core member of Reclaiming our Downtown, Member of PALCUS, and work with a variety of NPOS. Member of the VTA/BART CWG and DRC groups. I own a Small Business in Santa Clara for 18 years called EggsbytheBay.

For 20 years, Mike has passionately raised money for scholarships, programs, and capital projects for Santa Clara University and Stanford University.  In his role as the AVP of Development and Constituent Relations at Santa Clara University, Mike oversees the Annual Giving and Donor Relations efforts, manages SCU’s Board of Regents, and serves as the liaison between the University and external organizations, facilitating relationships and advancing University priorities within the community.  While at Santa Clara, Mike helped launch the University’s largest ever comprehensive campaign, led the implementation of a successful reunion giving program, and drove the strategies behind reversing an eight-year decline in alumni participation.
