About Us

DEMAS is the oldest HEMA in the US. With over 25 years of experience teaching European martial arts including swords and knives like those used in movies like Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Princess Bride, and Robin Hood. We also teach classes in Archery, Quarterstaff, Armor and Lightsaber.

We have full curriculum for each of the classes and have experience teaching people of all ages, all experience levels, and all fitness levels. We have classes for adults and children. Most of our classes are for attendees over the age of 13. We have classes for children under the age of 13 and that class is called 'The Dragon Slayer' classes.

We also have instructors that can choreograph theatrical fights for stage productions, movie projects and tv productions. Steaphen has choreographed for local high schools, Disney channel music video, video games, and more.
