WaFd Bank Los Altos

About Us

At WaFd Bank, we believe banking should feel personal. While WaFd Bank is a national bank, we’ve always aimed to act more like a reliable next-door neighbor. Since our founding in 1917, we’ve been committed to helping build healthy, thriving communities by supporting individuals, families, and businesses with simple, straightforward banking solutions.

WaFd Bank is a full-service small business bank offering free business checking, commercial lending, merchant services, payroll solutions, business lines of credit, business loans, and credit cards designed to support businesses at every stage of growth.

What makes WaFd different is our commitment to being active in the communities we serve. We believe banking goes beyond the walls of a branch. Our bankers are out in the community building relationships, getting to know local business owners, understanding their goals, and helping businesses and communities succeed and grow together.

Whether you’re starting a new venture, expanding your business, purchasing or refinancing a building for your business, or planning for the future, our team is dedicated to providing personalized service, trusted financial guidance, and local support you can count on.

At WaFd Bank, we love what we do and making a difference in the communities we serve. That's why we created the WaFd Bank Foundation—to facilitate giving to local nonprofits that serve the needs of low- and moderate-income individuals. See our Community Relations and Corporate and Social Responsibility pages for more information.
