Inaugural Holiday Gala: SVC Chamber Celebrates With Silicon Valley Community At Hyatt Regency

Elegant and Festive Gala Celebrates the End of 2023 with Networking, Food, Live Music, Dance on Sunday, December 17th

The Silicon Valley Central (SVC) Chamber of Commerce held the SVCCC Holiday Gala, Sunday, Dec. 17, 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara.

The SVCCC Holiday Gala 2023 brought together the Silicon Valley community of Chamber members and non-members to look back and celebrate successes and triumphs, the opportunities ahead, and above all to acknowledge the most important aspect, community.

The Chamber CEO, Harbir K Bhatia, opened the night by remembering that this is a season of various holidays for the many cultures that make up Silicon Valley, mentioning that Happy Holidays includes Happy Hanukkah, Happy Gurpurab, Happy Kwanzaa, and Happy Diwali. She highlighted that there are many traditions that we need to learn more about and include since Silicon Valley is the community of diversity, and our plans, our programs and opportunities, need to be inclusive. The Chamber is working to create a thriving Silicon Valley for all.

Ms. Bhatia and the two youth MCs, Aaryan Gautam and Isha Singh, opened up the night by recognizing the board members, community partners, elected officials from all over Silicon Valley, vendors and volunteers and highlighted the sponsors including brainShare, TriCore Panels, and The UPS Store on Almaden Expressway.

“Against the Silicon Valley skyline of innovation, the SVC Chamber's Holiday Gala was successful in bringing together visionaries and trailblazers, fostering collaboration and uniting businesses and entrepreneurs alike in a celebration of community,” said Joe Siecinski, former chairman and current SVC Chamber board member.

The Gala kicked off with cocktails and canapes in the Mingling Hour, a mini boutique bazaar, holiday portraits, raffles and silent auctions, and segued into the festive and delicious Autumn Harvest dinner menu by the Hyatt Regency chefs, the live band ‘The Peelers’ with their high energy music and, of course, dancing; the overwhelming feedback by attendees was that it was a holiday event par excellence.

“The Silicon Valley spirit was shining bright at the SVC Chamber Gala! Beyond the gourmet spreads and dazzling décor, there was a genuine warmth and sense of community. It was a reminder that innovation thrives when we come together, celebrating not just accomplishments, but also the values that make our valley and our hearts shine,” said Misha Homara, SVC Chamber Events Committee Chair.

SVC Chamber is proud to celebrate our community’s support of and involvement with the Chamber and look forward to continuing to work together in the years to come.
